3.5.6  Conclusions

The experiments in high energy physics are performed by institutional collaborations between some countries. Normally those collaborations group some hundred physicists from many centers of research and advanced studies from all over the globe. The work in experimental high energy physics is highly specialized. Some groups are dedicated to the design and construction of detectors, others to the acquisition system of data, others to process the data, others to the data analysis, etc. The sources of the primary beam are in the biggest laboratories in the world like FERMILAB, DESY, SLAC, CERN, etc. There the experiments are done.

The sources of primary beam are built with the participation of some countries. They are multimillion projects. And require the cooperation of many physicists, engineers, local industry and international industry, etc. Normally the facilities for the investigation are at the disposition of the international scientific community.

In the centers of primary beam, multidisciplinary investigations are performed. In mechanical engineering , computation, software, hardware, medicine, optics, electronics, etc. All that investigations are around experimental high energy physics.

The experiments of high energy physics are benefited from groups of physicists dedicated exclusively to the theoretical high energy physics that are associated to those centers of primary beam.
